- Synopsis
- Poland 1939. By Stalin’s orders, a little boy, Jakub (11) is uprooted from his idyllic life and deported as « undesired element» to the remote corners of Siberia. Thus he commences a seven-year struggle to survive. Through the winter of Siberian gulag, wilderness of the Taiga and the soviet Uzbekistan, together with an intrepid and rebel Russian girl, Sasha (13), he will never stop dreaming about returning home.
