    • Synopsis
    • It is a hot and sticky night of summer. Inés, a woman in her forties, is driving through the city of Buenos Aires towards the suburbs. She is spending Christmas Eve with her brother’s family-in-law she has not met before.

      Times are hard for her. The theatre she used to work in as a press agent is letting her go; she is once again going through a heartbreak, and as to crown a difficult year, she will have to face on Christmas Eve the weight of the gaze of others judging her for being single and not having children.

      Throughout the hours of this family siege, Inés faces the constant questioning of her life decisions; she defies the unwritten rules of social expectations and reaffirms her choices. This emotional see-saw of self-transformation finally leads her to make loneliness a liberating and reaffirming feeling for her as a woman.
