- Synopsis
- Since the recent death of his brother, Pascal, 46, a dairy farmer in Val-d'Illiez (VS), has had to run the family business alone. Every day, he milks around thirty cows. Solène, 30, a volonteer, discovers the harshness of the protagonist's daily life, in contact with the land and the animals, raising questions about our relationship with living things. The film dances on two feet, one concrete in relation to Pascal's work and the experiences of the volunteer, the other more spiritual accompanying the protagonist and her search for elevation.
