Synopsis
Welcome to the town of Lytton. Population 350: the heart of gold rush country. Trailer parks, pick-up trucks, and the middle of nowhere… This is what Cole Chambers calls home. 21-year-old Cole (Richard de Klerk) has spent his entire life picking up the pieces of his shattered and dysfunctional family. He cares for his big sister Maybelline’s (Sonja Bennett) 6-year-old biracial son Rocket (Jack Forrester), protecting him from Maybelline’s boyfriend Bobby (Chad Willett). He helps manage the family gas station with his sister and also must care for his mother (Rebecca Jenkins), who suffered a tragic accident he feels responsible for. When he finally sees an opportunity to get out of this small town and make something of himself, he’s not sure if he can pay the price.
