- Synopsis
- On the edge of the Antarctic circle, a young man, Friend, comes to a desolate island poised to take up the post of weather observer. But he finds no trace of the man he has been sent to replace, just a deranged brute in the lighthouse who has witnessed a horror he refuses to name. Friend realizes that something else lurks on the island, when nightly invasions of unknown creatures emerge in the dark from the ocean.
