    • Synopsis
    • “The Cold Front The Rain Brings”, screenplay based on a play with the same name, from Mário Bortolotto, adapted by himself and the director Neville D’Almeida, talks about the explosive and odd encounter of young rich people from Rio de Janeiro’s south zone and slum inhabitants and in the slums they decided to make parties full of alcohol, drugs and sex.

      Marginalized in the group, Amsterdan, young woman who sells her body for some cocaine, Gru, the underestimated slab owner, and Vitor, the security guard who protects the rich, are the key characters that mediates between two different universes.

      A cold front keeps the group of continuing with the parties that had been happening on the slab. In the last night they invite the “pagode” Singer Raposão, who was originally very poor and now is a new rich, to make a private show. It’s from this point on that the conflicts take a new and tragic course.
