    • Synopsis
    • Cleopatra is a romantic comedy about freedom and the will to live. It is about the freedom of two women: Cleo -Norma Aleandro- a retired teacher, and Sandra -Natalia Oreiro- a famous soap opera actress. These two women, who are sick and tired of being in their ruts, decide to live a different weekend that will turn out to be the first step towards a sheer change in their fates. They will meet Carlos in their way, a truck driver and go-getter, who joins them in the adventure.
Shooting begins in Buenos Aires. Then the highway and the circumstances drive them to a little town in Cordoba province first, and then to Salta and Jujuy right in the Andes.
The film takes place throughout seventy two hours, real time, from Friday to Sunday. It tells the ups and downs and love affairs of three beloved characters who have decided to risk their necks for the future.
