    • Synopsis
    • Pod is your average country bumpkin who moves to find work in Bangkok despite the warning from his grandma: the day when Pod finds a job in the capital, she says, he’ll wake up the next morning with a tail wagging out of his ass. Pod starts working in a tin sardine factory. One day Pod absent-mindedly cuts off his index finger and packs it into a can. That prompts him to run around Bangkok supermarkets tracking down his lost finger. Once reuniting with it, Pod decides to quit the job because he’s afraid that sooner or later he’ll lose his precious finger again.
Pod gets a new job as a security guard at a company. There he meets Jin, a wide-eyed maid who loves mopping the floor and carrying a mysterious white book that she cannot read. Jin is a woman who’s chasing her dreams, and one of them is to be able to read the white book that holds the secret of her own life.
Pod has a crush on Jin. He even quits the security guard job to drive a taxi, so that he’ll be able to drive Jin around every day. When Pod finally confesses his feeling, Jin rejects him, and Pod is so sad that he thinks of committing suicide. At that minute when the noose is around his neck, Pod’s grandma, who’s been dead and reborn as a gecko, appears on the wall and stops him. Meanwhile, Jin meets Peter, a foreign environmental activist who carries the same white book that Jin does. So Jin is certain that Peter will help her change her life. Soon Jin joins environmental rallies and becomes obsessed with saving the world from plastic. She collects plastic bottles from the street and piles them up until they become a mountain of plastic that reaches into the sky. Pod is depressed that Jin’s changed into a new person, but because of his love for her he waits for her every day at the mountain of plastic. But Jin never comes back.
That’s because Jin’s out there trying to find Peter. When she finally does, her world and her dreams come crashing down because Peter is not an idealistic activist that she imagines he is. Devastated, Jin aks Pod to stay away from her. And Pod sees no choice but to go back to his village.
But Pod misses Jin so much that he leaves his village for Bangkok again. Will Pod’s true love win Jin over? Will Jin ever find the dream she’s always looking for?
