- For its 39th and 40th session the Residence hosted directors Chiang Wei Liang, Urska Djukic, Zi Gao, Raven Johnson, Rhys Jones, Payal Kapadia, Rodrigo Barriuso, Guillermo García López, Samuel Ishimwe, Hana Jusic, Miki Polonski and Bernhard Wenger.
  
  Rodrigo Barriuso, Samuel Ishimwe and Bernhard Wenger will be the first filmmakers respectively from Cuba, Rwanda and Austria to be hosted at the Residence in Paris.
