- Synopsis
- IGARASHI Toru is acclaimed as a charismatic teacher at his cram school. He is famous, rich, and puffed up with pride. But one day, he is told that he has a terminal cancer and gets only 18 months remaining. On the way home from the hospital, he encounters a poor girl, Maki, 16 year old, at 99 yens shop. She was negotiating with a shop staff. Overlooking, Igarashi immediately notices her talent of mathematical scheme. Maki, on the other hand, is in the situation where she was forced to drop out of a high school to feed her loafing mother and herself, thus she can not see any potentiality in herself.
  After seeing Maki off, when he steps in that small cram school for the first time in a long while, he makes his mind to make Maki enter the most difficult and the top level university in Japan, the University of Tokyo, as his last will…
