The great lyrical singer Sylvette Frenirens, has the opportunity to return with her consecrating opera "Madama Butterfly"; after 10 years of retirement imposed by the death of his only son. This guilt, manipulated by her husband, the reggiseur Etienne, to launch her career, has plunged Sylvette into the shadows; causing Dolores, a young aspiring singer and Etienne lover, to conspire to win her place in the cast. Virginia, a friend of Sylvette, rescues her to face her destiny.

- Synopsis
- Sylvette Frenirens (45), an opera singer haunted by the death of her only 3-year-old son, has withdrawn from her career, friends and family; dedicating her life to her husband Etienne (50), a reggiseur she met in her conservatory years in Europe, who using his wife's contacts grows in fame and respect, in the last 10 years of Sylvette's postponement and is not willing to leave it now to be in the shadow of the true star.
  Matteo (60), owner of the theater where Etienne premieres his works, firmly believes in Sylvette's return to the stage and proposes her triumphant return with the opera "Madama Butterfly", which will be directed by Etienne, against her will .
  Etienne's harassment, coldness and neglect intensify on Sylvette, leading to a temporary loss of voice, for which she is impersonated by Dolores (30), a rising singer and lover of her husband, who helps in the plan to discredit her and plunge her into the darkness of her sorrow and guilt as a mother.
  The memories and connection with her son, despite the tragedy, empowers her; along with the strength and support that her friend Virginia (40) transmits, an ex-singer who, happy for Silvette's return, removes the blindfold regarding her marriage and her own life.
  Sylvette is ready to take her place as a professional, woman and artist and end her marriage; because their fate is about to be revealed.
