- A disparate settlement for millions of urbanized existences, cities are also the stage for our most intimate dreams and concerns. Chronicle of a City is a wandering essay that weaves its way through encounters on this stage, where questions about our existentiality trace the path from one to the other. Buoyed by a floating temporality, the film takes the form of a wander through a gentle purgatory. Oscillating between fantasy and Chronicle of a City reminds us that we inhabit The City, as much as it inhabits us in return. A contemplation as sonorous as it is visual, it invites us to see our urbanity as a world of feelings that run through us and push us towards the Other, despite the prevailing solitude.
