- Synopsis
- On New Year’s Eve 2020, an unknown virus spreads from Wuhan to other towns and cities. Those infected increases at an explosive rate and the medical community is horrified by how powerful and highly transmissible the virus is. A little-known infectious disease hospital is designated to treat patients. Hospital director Zhang Jingyu (Zhang), together with a range of colleagues and young interns, faces numerous challenges while trying to save patients. In a race against time and death, they work around the clock to transform the isolation ward in order to handle a large number of the gravely ill. But it’s a constant battle and critical decisions must be made before they are faced with immeasurable consequences.
