    • Synopsis
    • A Spanish couple adopts Xiang, a 9-year-old Chinese girl. Soon after, her adoptive father discovers that her biological family is trying to get in touch with her, creating a conflict about whether to expose her to a dramatic situation that could jeopardize their relationship. This heartwarming tale intertwines with the story of Lucía, her classmate and teenage sister, both second-generation Chinese girls striving to construct their identity amid the dichotomy of both cultures. As the three get to know each other better, they will ultimately uncover that elusive essence contrasting with what truly matters: their environment and roots.
