- Synopsis
- Three aimless villagers Dobleh, Tama, and Bagus, shared their spirit of not handsome enough, not rich enough, not lucky enough, to be a musicians. Their idol is campus’s favorite rock band, the Bangers.The super metal cool kids at the campus, always surrounded by the Bling Bling gang, the prettiest and most popular girls. It’s not easy for the Trio to compete with the Bangers, to achieve fame that the handsome and rich kids have. But their open idolisation of the Bangers have also opened the way for hostility. It began with Bagus nearly hitting Langit’s (vocalist of the Bangers) car with his bike. Then it continued with Dobleh liking Gadis, Langit’s girlfriend, leader of the Bling Bling gang. Langit take notice and and with the Bangers challenge the Trio to a band competition at their campus. Feeling that it was the time to prove their existence as a real music band and get back at the Bangers for their teasing, they practice their music and name their band SKJ, going with music filled with physical fitness gymnastics rhythms. Gadis comes to see Langit’s snobiness and start taking an interest in SKJ. Somehow, the SKJ confident and hard working leads them to join Indie Music Festival. As SKJ headed to Jakarta, their ruralness become a huge obstacle, the Bling Bling girls luckily help them out. They were commenting on how unappropriate their country clothes are when they attend the Festival and so on. Surprisingly, their name was called as one of the four finalists. Will SKJ becoming the celebrities of Jogja?? Indeed they do - they win the judges and audience heart and becoming the celebrities of Jogja!
