    • Synopsis
    • Every year, in a small town in the shore of the Uruguay River, the festival of La Solapa is held; a celebration where the young people of the area get together to drink, dance and take drugs, naively honoring this dark humanoid/pidgeon creature that takes away those who are awaken and wonder in the forest at nap time.
Malena and Rocío are forbidden to go to the party. But Rocío escapes and gets lost in the crowd. Malena, fulfilling her duty as the older sister, decides to follow her to take care of her. Both get carried away by music, physical contact, alcohol and drugs, until Rocío separates from the group for a moment and… something violently drags her into the forest! Malena, desperate and high, cannot see what the thing that kidnapped her sister was. Does La Solapa really exist? While trying to find her sister, she meets Abril, a girl who experienced the same event at the party the previous year and is investigating a possible trafficking network that has the town authorities involved.
Together they will go into the forest risking their lives, getting into a horrific journey that will be much darker than what they heard in the folktales, and where they will find answers that will change their destiny forever. Because the darkness of the trees hides much more than wild animals and mythological figures.
