    • Synopsis
    • The story takes place during Manuela and Gabino ́s trip. They ́ve been living together for four years now and have been a couple for six. This trip is her attempt to save their relationship, which has become cold and distant. He ́s reaching his thirty five birthday and is now beginning to question all the things he ́s ever wanted to do and hasn ́t done yet; in spite of his non athletic nature, he has a strange obsession with surf. The surf instructor, Isaac, is an attractive young local, a guy with a bold and wild spirit (contrary to Gabino) that appears at the very start of the story as an antagonist and catalyst of the events to come. A storm threatens the coast; a parallelism to the troublesome emotional state of the couple ́s relationship. Manuela and Isaac are strongly attracted to one another and Gabino is suspicious from the beginning. His selfish attitude and poor choices are pulling his girlfriend away as she finds comfort in Isaac. Their flirtation starts getting out of hand and Isaac seems to be obsessed with her turning the whole thing into a spooky situation. The storm arrives and everyone is evacuating. The love triangle leads the relationship between these characters into dark and unexpected places.
