    • Synopsis
    • A bleak society where those who are weak or fail to adapt are turned into industrial food in total indifference. Philippe and Marie, two teenagers whose parents have been destroyed by the system, end up in an orphanage where teaching methods are terrifying. Twenty years later, they are husband and wife and look like a wealthy couple which fits into society. While Philippe, a cold and merciless executive, takes an active part in the system, Marie falls into a depression that seems irreversible. As they find themselves unable to have children, they are on the verge of breaking up. But Marie believes that there is no such thing as fate, that one can leave the past behind, if one is ready to face it, even in the most painful way. And this is what she will do, to show Philippe that, even if they are alone against the world, they can love and survive in this ice-cold desert where men have become monsters. Ordinary monsters.
