    • The Ozama River divides the City of Santo Domingo, it is an important vein of water that has been contaminated for years. Its shores are inhabited by thousands of migrants from villages, those who left their fields in search of a city prosperity that has not yet arrived. There lives Ruddy, a rower with oars that pushes his boat as if they were extensions of his arms. It crosses from one shore to another transporting passengers. Once a week he is visited by his lover, Morena, she is a religious fanatic, always singing to Jesus. For eleven years they have kept their love secret.
