- In a documentary record of the Santa Fe floods of 2003, a woman specifies that, being evacuated, the canoe that transported them broke in the middle, and she had to choose which of her two babies to release. Inspired by this real event, we now imagine that the river saved the 6-month-old boy to make him appear downstream, in Victoria, Entre Ríos.
  Thus, the child grows up in an orphanage under the name of Juan, being returned repeatedly by his adopters, since Juan does not speak, has a type of philia with dead animals and a terrifying fear of water. One day the caretaker of the orphanage discovers that the child does not kill animals, but that they are the ones who come to die until him. With his first ally, Juan delves into "the art of prolonging life after death": taxidermy. On a stormy night, his secret is discovered and he is thrown out on the street as a psychopath and murderer.
  Medina, the policeman who found him as a baby in the river, offers him shelter. From now on, Moses, the name with the Medina renamed him, begins to live with all his animals in the police sheds, who begin to train him in the trade, but without noticing that the young man, given his art, has such an acute sense of smell that he begins to solve cases drawn.
  The Federal Police tries to take him to the Capital to make a career. Because Moses refuses, he is expelled from the force. Medina, aware that Moses cannot develop in society, returns him to the island where he met him as a child. A few days later, Moses sees the wetlands burning and attacks the laborers who started the burning, being seriously injured. As he bleeds into the river, hundreds of animals enshrine themselves around him and Medina comes to the rescue. When Moses wakes up from the coma, they explain that he was accused of the burning and is transferred to a psychiatric hospital. There, an old man recognizes him and declares "You are the head that will command true men! You are the Captain!" Moses turns 18 and inside the cake that Medina gives him, he receives a pomegranate. Thus, Moses escapes and the state puts a price on his head.
  Medina hides Moses in Rosario, where he begins to work in the morgue burning hundreds of bodies that fall non-stop as a result of a new virus that is ravaging humanity, also infecting animals and leaving the world without meat to eat. Taking advantage of the healthy meat of the dead through no fault of the virus, Medina designs a plan to sell human flesh as food. The business soon expands throughout the region making them rich. With that money, Medina and Moses buy the islands where Moses survived, naming them "Eden."
  At the same time that he carries out his definitive revenge, Moises, already Captain, organizes an artistic event where he shows his work of hyperrealistic character in which dozens of taxidermized bodies pose perennial, coexisting in perfect harmony with living animals.
