- Synopsis
- Who killed Jenny Engel?
  The girl's body is found in the forest near the village of Manscheid in the north of the country.
  Luc Capitani, the seconded police officer, is from the south and has little understanding of the local mentality.
  Supported by Elsa Ley, a young and intrepid policewoman, he finds himself quickly entangled in a plot where everything is pretense and every inhabitant knows more than he reveals.
  Over the course of the investigation, Luc Capitani will not only hunt down a murderer, but also break a mentality, a system where many people protect themselves, but also manipulate each other in the name of "common welfare".
  By gradually exposing the villagers' lies, he will have to face his own conscience in discovering the suffocating truth!
