    • Synopsis
    • Marco Camenisch is currently sitting in a high-security prison in northern Italy. Camenisch was an ecology activist and at the end of the 70's had destroyed power plants in Switzerland, which led to a sensational legal process and a 10-year prison sentence. Following his prison escape in Regensdorf, he was reported missing for years. Marco Camenisch reappeared on the 3rd of December 1989. He visited the gravesite of his father, a customs officer, who had recently passed away. Shortly thereafter, only a few hundred metres from the cemetery, one of his father's colleagues was found murdered. Author Silvio Huonder, from Graubünden and currently living in Berlin, knew Marco Camenisch during their youth. Using Berlin as a starting point, he begins to trace the story of his former compeer. During his journey he meets, among others, Camenisch's accomplices, his mother, the widow of the murdered customs officer – and an entire complexity of tragic entanglements.
