- Synopsis
- Patrick is a clumsy yet tenacious young ten-year-old butterfly who, despite his faulty, underdeveloped wing, tries relentlessly to keep up with his peers. His efforts prove fruitless and he fails miserably to fit in. He is left out of flutter ball games, laughed at when forced to use the stairs, and mocked for continually flopping around in circles. A small gaggle of razor-tongued classmates, headed by Jennifer - gang leader and the bane of Patrick’s existence - ridicule him at every opportunity; calling him klutzy and uncoordinated. He’d defend himself, of course, if he wasn’t so busy flying headfirst into a tree.
