    • Synopsis
    • Halil, who joins the police force under pressure from his father, has caused the death of a suspicious looking African immigrant in the course of duty. Conscience drives him to attempt suicide. He imprisons himself in a closed world. Meanwhile, the journey Jordan embarks on with his mother is to end in Britain with his father, who he will meet up with in Greece. The last stop before Greece is Dalyan, on the southwest coast of Turkey. But the tough journey ends in an accident at sea. Jordan survives, but his mother dies.
When Halil finds Jordan, the child’s fate is left in his hands. But as Halil walks away from the responsibility, he surrenders his own fate to the young Jordan. The little boy, his veiled past and a sense of guilt gradually give way to love and sacrifice.
