    • Synopsis
    • 1930. During the first military dictatorship in Argentina, three battle-hardened “gauchos”, are called by rebel forces to a national uprising. The goal for them is the taking of their own town: La Paz, Entre Rios. After a risky struggle they succeed. But the shocking news then reaches them: the uprising has been suspended and they haven't been warned. The de facto national government requires them to surrender, but fearlessly, the brothers refuse. A brutal hunting which includes the three military forces is thrown upon them. They are chased for a month and a half through the argentine jungle. They are alone against an army, but they count with the support of a few herdsmen and ranchers from the jungle. Thanks to them, and their irrevocable temperament, they achieve the seemingly impossible: survival. They cross the border and exile to Uruguay. This is how they became the mythological origin of most of the popular movements in Argentina which have guarded the Republic during the past one hundred years.
