- Synopsis
- It’s 1988 and the picturesque Ontario town of Brookfield is, to the eyes of the thousands of tourists who flock to the region each summer, perfect in almost every way.
  
  As the summer season is about to begin, a local boy and his parents are found brutally murdered and buried in the woods. This sends panic through the community as the local police, unequipped to handle such a crime, reluctantly call in help from the RCMP.
  
  For aspiring-filmmaker Ricky Broeden and his close group of high school friends, the murder of their schoolmate is both shocking and exhilarating, as they set out to solve the murders and kill the boredom of living in a small town.
