- Synopsis
- A happy, football-loving schoolboy, Sayoh, is picked up by rebel forces, under the auspices of the notorious RUF, from his humble civilised village and forced to commit atrocities; turning him into a hardened, dead-behind-the-eyes child soldier. But a long and troubled companionship with his former schoolteacher, Sullay – who Sayoh is forced to maim, cutting off both his hands – brings him back from the brink.
