The documentary film closely follows one class of second graders in a real junior high school for 50 days. The main characters are all 35 students in the class. As we observe their "normal" daily lives, with no juvenile delinquents or major incidents, what emerges is the emotional turmoil unique to 14-year-olds, who struggle desperately in the ambiguous age range of neither adult nor child. There is an "experience like a ride in a time machine of the mind," which is completely different from watching an ordinary movie. In a world where everything is so hectic, this is a movie to make you stop once and put a "bookmark" in your memory to go back to the feelings of those days anytime.
