- Inspired by the book “FORÇA NA PERUCA, tragédias e comédias de um cancer” (editora Matrix), written by Mirela Janotti, the documentary tells stories of women who have been throung or are going through the experience of living with breast cancer. BRAVE WOMEN is a dockumentary based in the life of courageous women. Women who have lost their breasts, their hair, but who have not lost the dignity and the joy of living. The relationship of these women with the world and themselves; the need to be vital and have concrete dreams, while living with the uncertainty of healing; What happens with life before and after the illness, the reversal of expectations, the treatment, chemotherapy, the Phantom of the mastectomy, advances in scientific research, the relationship with the family, their companions.In addition, the series brings information, references and inspiration for those who somehow relates to the theme, as patient, family member, friend or even doctor.
