    • Synopsis
    • If you are a country singer or songwriter, The Bluebird Cafe is the Nashville equivalent of the Sundance Film Festival for independent film, the Comedy Cellar for comedians, or the Duke University Basketball team for future hoops superstars. Despite the venue’s small scale, determinedly informal, local feel, it has been the key to the rise of artists as diverse as Taylor Swift, Garth Brooks, Faith Hill, Jason Isbell (all of whom appear in the film). Both the yearly pilgrimage by countless country artists to the Bluebird's unlikely location in a strip mall on the outskirts of Nashville and its growing presentation of events across the country and even across the world, bears witness to the Bluebird's status. Directed by Brian Loschiavo, this big-hearted film offers an immersion in the entrancing aura of the Bluebird’s nightly presentation of extraordinary performance of music and lyrics, reminding us all to follow our dreams.
