    • Synopsis
    • This exciting animated feature film for children of all ages, set in a fictitious city in China, tells an urgent cautionary tale in which our natural earth is in mortal peril from the irresponsible behavior of human beings. Motivated by short term greed and a blatant disregard for long term sustainability, the acts of negligence depicted in this visually compelling and conceptually simple story of cause and effect, include the proliferation of carbon-spewing factories, power plants, refineries and fossil fuel-powered vehicles. Not only have these destructive practices created pollution so dangerous that children may no longer be able to open their windows, but wholesale deforestation and chemical dumping in our oceans, lakes, rivers and streams, has completely disabled the planet's natural abilities to clean the air and water, and to heal its wounds. The devastating results include global climate change, melting polar ice caps, rising tides and extremely severe weather patterns, all of which will combine to eventually make our once beautiful earth no longer able to support human or other forms of life.

Luckily, a brave young asthmatic girl named KEIKO, together with the magical friends she encounters along the way, chooses to defy and defeat the inevitability of the situation. BLUE is an action-packed animated adventure, full of seemingly impossible challenges that Keiko and company must overcome. It is a thrilling, hopeful call to action, aimed at raising awareness of these life-threatening problems in younger generations, so that they can take bold initiatives, like our young hero Keiko does, to help save our world.
