    • Japanese national food Ramen is becoming a world comfort food. Celebrated Japanese super ramen master Shigetoshi Nakamura, who has been making ramen for two decades and got huge success of his shop Nakamura-ya in Kanagawa Japan. The chef, known as one of four “Ramen Gods”, moved to the US and opened his popular eponymous restaurant Nakamura in New York in 2016. He has trained many ramen chefs in Japan and the US as his mission. Shigetoshi is considered as a global authority. Now he is also focusing on eclectic version of Mazemen, which is a style of ramen without broth, and his sensational new restaurant Niche opened right next door of Nakamura in January 2019. BEYOND RAMEN tells the ramen savant Nakamura’s innovative works and exciting journey.
