    • Synopsis
    • Francisco lives with his brother Victor, his wife Silvia and Bruno his nephew. Francisco remains ignored, alone and under lock and key, the only activity he is permitted in liberty is to go walking to the park in the afternoons. One day he finds a rat at the park and makes it his pet. He takes care of it and hides it in his room until he is discovered and Silvia who can no longer stand him decides to be rid of him once and for all, and so they take him to live with his sister in a far away town. Gabriela receives him against the wishes of her boyfriend Daniel, who mistreats and humiliates him. Faced with this profoundly depressing situation Francisco decides to escape from the house and enter the forest surrounding the town, he becomes astonished by its beauty, and discovers a new way of life in freedom.
