- Mankind strives for perfection. Yet it is imperfection that makes us better. In preparation for future space exploration, mistakes can save lives. Only those who initially fail in their quest can later push the boundaries - discovering Mars as a new habitat.
  
  An international research group of six analog astronauts is simulating life on the red planet in the Israeli Negev desert. In a custom-built habitat, the young scientists embark on a four-week isolation phase. While billionaires engage in a prestigious race to commercialize space tourism, volunteers become pioneers of space exploration during their vacation. Sophisticated space technology such as rovers and drones are tested, while communication procedures and interpersonal behaviors are also rehearsed.
