Iván Vallejo, the first Ecuadorian to conquer Everest (in 1999), creates a film commemorating his journey and invites Sebastián Cordero, an Ecuadorian filmmaker who premiered his debut feature in Venice the same year Iván achieved his feat. This is Ecuadors entry to the 97th Academy Awards.

- Iván Vallejo is the the seventh human being in history to climb the fourteen Eight-Thousanders without the help of supplemental oxygen. He invited filmmaker Sebastián Cordero to go with him to Mount Everest, where they will realize they share many similar life experiences, but also have opposing
  views when imagining the documentary. Conversations about mountains, filmmaking and life lead to philosophical reflections that contrast with life in Nepal. As days go by, the higher altitude and the depletion of oxygen raise the debate to interior and transcendental territories putting at stake their
  trajectories and their egos when facing the mountain and its millenary depth.
