Rosa and Samuel are lost in life, homeless, when are invited to join a camp in a deep excavation site. While collecting plastic among wastes, Samuel finds the dead body of a foetus, Rosa adopts it, but Marcos spreads the news of the End Times, and the group sinks in its fears and superstitions.

- Synopsis
- Rosa (40) and Samuel (40) have been expelled from their first home: the Nature. They have arrived from the countryside, looking for the progress of the modern life. In the center of the city, together with a dozen of people, they inhabit the hole of a deep excavation site which was left to its fate during the financial collapse. On daytime everyone sleeps, during the night they emerge from the underworld to wander the empty streets looking for garbage bags, they are recyclers and plastic is their currency.
  
  Every place can be a home for those ones living in uprootedness. Going from eviction to eviction, Rosa and Samuel are new in the campsite and the group shows them their hospitality. The leader of the camp, Nidia (35), invites Marcos (65), a self-convinced scientist who arrives carrying a sack full of rats, and preaching about the climate change, the social collapse and the End Times. Samuel finds the dead body of a foetus in the garbage. Rosa adopts the foetus, looking to offer it the home that deserves, the one that they both also want for themselves; but the group rejects the foetus.
  
  Strange events start to happen in the camp, everyone blames the foetus, Rosa and Samuel defend it and the hospitality turns into hostility. A woman dies in unclear circumstances, the group is furious and sinks into the fear and superstition. Nidia expels the couple, but they are tired of always running away, and everything turns violent when they defend their home against the group.

  DEVENIR has the Peruvian nationality and the 31% of the Global Budget is already in place. This film is produced by the Peruvian company DOBLE NEGATIVO FILMS and the Dutch company RXYX, both of them managed by RICARDO YUI, who is a Peruvian citizen based in the Netherlands since 2014.
  
  DOBLE NEGATIVO FILMS obtained the Production Grant for Feature Film by the NATIONAL FILM FUND OF PERU (DAFO), in 2020. Amsterdam-based, RXYX is a production company that has financed the script development of this project, since 2018.
  
  DEVENIR has an organic approach to the coproduction with Chile, Argentina, Mexico and the Netherlands, due to the head departments already involved in the project. In this moment, we are looking for Latin American and European partners that could recognise the universal urgency of our project, the ones that besides the creative, technical or financial resources, could also print their special touch in our film.
