    • In 1999 Hong Kong, a shocking murder mystery unfolds as the decaying, headless body of a renowned model is discovered, in an apartment belonging to her suitor, the brother of a prominent politician. Despite widespread public outcry and numerous appeals, the case is repeatedly dismissed, shrouded in secrecy with all files classified and details of the affair between the victim and suspect concealed.

The deceased model's spirit lingers in a state of limbo, trapped in the Buddhist "Bardo" due to unresolved traumas and bitterness from her turbulent life on Earth. Years later, a young journalist forms an inexplicable bond with this tormented soul, becoming her vessel in the world. Together, they embark on a quest to unravel the truth behind the murder, aiming to bring closure for the restless spirit.

"Bardo" delves into the haunting influence of love and the profound shadows it casts over our existence. It explores the darker facets of obsession, the depths of human longing, and the perilous consequences when love transforms into a destructive force, consuming everything in its path.
