- Synopsis
- Arturo is a hard working, Italian migrant farmer. He and his wife, Rosa, abandoned Sicily in search of a better life in Australia.
  Everything is nearly perfect for Arturo and Rosa except for one detail. Gabriella, their daughter, is a single mother who needs a husband - and she needs one now. And Arturo is determined to find her one - the Italian way.
  Arturo takes it upon himself to bring Angelo, a humble farmer and a bachelor out from Sicily. Arturo hasn’t seen Angelo since he was a baby, but he knows the Brandini family and would be proud to have any one of them for a son-in-law.
  When Arturo collects Angelo from the airport events take an unexpected turn.
  Another Angelo is also on his way to Australia. His name is Angelo d’Angelo and he’s a Mafia hood on the run after a rather nasty feud between the New York ‘families’.
  The two Angelos could not be more different. One is here to grow oranges, tend goats and marry a girl he’s never met. The other is here to lie low, have a good time and enjoy the company of all the girls he’s never met.
  When the slick, fast talking and dangerous New Yorker is collected and taken bush, the humble, Sicilian farmer is left to the mercy of two Sydney underworld cohorts who take him to a brothel where his peasant sensibilities are severely tested.
  “BAD ANGEL” is a film about family, misunderstood love, mistaken identity and revenge. It’s the story of a morally corrupt Angelo who is infected by the simple goodness of a struggling, migrant family. Slowly he sees there’s another side to life and that doing good deeds is every bit as rewarding as eliminating your enemies.
