    • Synopsis
    • When reckless Libyan teenager “Britannia” gets an
interview at the British embassy, he comes one
step closer to a visa and his childhood dream of
setting foot on Manchester’s Canal Street, the
pulsing queer Mecca of the world. After all, ‘to be
truly gay, you have to be British’. All he needs is
one thing: his passport. And so, Britannia and his
newfound family sneak back to the house he left
years before, avoiding his oppressive Baba. But an
unexpected discovery forces Britannia on a journey
      he never expected to take.
