    • Synopsis
    • AUSSIE RULES was born and bred in Australia. AFL kicked off over 150 years ago and although diggers, missionaries and expats have been putting up goal posts all over the world, the game is still quintessentially ours. But now the rules have changed as Australians are turning to a new world of sports on TV and the internet. Can our uniquely indigenous game survive as it’s introduced onto the world stage? How can AFL compete for audience and spread its influence beyond these shores? AUSSIE RULES joins AFL superstar Brett Kirk on an international mission to promote footy and find out who, where, and why AUSSIE RULES? Brett uncovers people’s passion for AFL footy from the war torn streets of Jerusalem to the chaos of Mumbai, in the townships of Johannesburg to the glamour of New York. All culminating in a fierce international AFL carnival back in Australia.
