    • Synopsis
    • Kai, a lovesick young Taiwanese, yearns to be with his girlfriend, who's gone to Paris. After finishing his daily work in his parents' street restaurant, he tries to learn French in a local bookstore where he meets the sweet bookshop employee Susie. In need of money for the ticket to Paris and afraid of losing his girlfriend, he accepts a dubious offer. It is the beginning of a wild night for Kai, at the end of which he realizes that leaving Taipei and Susie would only drive him away from true love.
