- Juvenal Ravelo is a world-renowned kinetic artist. In recent years he has held exhibitions in Miami, Madrid, Santiago de Chile, Havana and Paris. Today, at the age of 85, Ravelo continues to be extremely active, developing a great deal of creative work, researching and exhibiting, even in the midst of the pandemic, just recovered by Covid. He participated in the virtual edition within the framework of Miami Art Week in December 2020, represented by Kleur Gallery of Santiago, Chile, which had also presented a selection of his works in 2017 at the “Ch.aco Fair”. Ravelo’s amazing vitality accompanies the important community work, raising awareness and awakening artistic concerns thanks to the concept he has been perfecting of “Art of participation in the street”. We will see this applied in the French city of Marcigny, or in the mural done for the Havana Biennial in 2015.
