    • Synopsis
    • In 1945, after the Nazi camps were liberated, Neus Català, a feminist and a republican, returns
      to France, where she hopes to be reunited with her husband, Albert. As she rebuilds her new
      life as a free woman, she remembers the events that took place the previous year, when, as
      a prisoner of the Nazis, she was sent to work in a military weapons factory in Czechoslovakia.
      In order to continue the fight and maintain her resistance, Neus became the leader of group
      of women who sabotaged the weapons factory, much to the desperation of the Nazis. This
      group of women was called the Gandulas Commando.
