- Highly talented art curator, JULIA CAMPBELL, has excellent relationships with dead artists and their work. But her social skills with the living leave a lot to be desired. When the director of The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston assigns Julia to curate an important exhibition in Italy, all goes well until one of the museum's board members is found dead. Interpol quickly wraps up the case, with an obvious suspect and motive, but Julia believes there is more to the murder than meets the eye. Through clues involving the works of art that only she would see, Julia boldly inserts herself into the investigation, and asserts her theory of the crime, much to the annoyance and protests of the lead Interpol detective, Agent KARL WEBER. Julia ultimately prevails and Weber begrudgingly admits the value of her input and insights.
  
  In this modern day "MURDER SHE WROTE", their tumultuous but co-dependent relationship established in the pilot episode, sets the tone for each week's further adventures, as Julia and Weber officially join forces to solve challenging murder mysteries in the high stakes world of international fine art.
