- Synopsis
- Arnie the rat is a “low-caste” technical genius who lives with his parents in the seedy suburbs of Rat York and leads an uneventful life of a goody-two-shoes college student until a tragedy strikes. Arnie and his parents have a bad car accident. Only Arnie survives. He has to quit college and start working in a car parts factory to make ends meet. His dreams of becoming an automobile designer melt away. This is when he meets Jack, the local “monster garage” hot shot and a small-time hustler who will steal a little thing here and there and joins him in building a car. One day, when Arnie brings some factory rejects for spare parts, Jack lashes at him for bringing junk and the two lock horns in the presence of their mutual love interest, Lucy.
  
  This is when Arnie reunites with his childhood friends, all joining forces to build themselves their own car in order to beat Jack in a car race, and help Arnie win Lucy’s heart. Sounds like a piece of cake. On the way, Arnie and his buddies will overcome many hardships, engage in fierce fights, outwit the mob and win the race. And what about Arnie and Lucy? It´s not too hard to guess.
