    • Synopsis
    • “Argus Montenegro & The Instability of the Strong Time” focus on the drummer Argus Montenegro as its main character- he’s considered one of the most talented drummers by the critics, the musicians and the specialized public, not only in Brazil but all over the world as well.
In the early 60’s, he used to participate in musical nights playing with great names of the Brazilian music and of the world jazz such as Sergio Mendes, Tom Jobim, Carlos Lira and Antonio Solero. Unknown by most of the public, he lived in a humble house, in a simple neighborhood in Porto Alegre(Brazil). Having a natural talent to tell stories, he is the narrator of his own career and of the music in Brazil for the last fifty years. He presents his compositions and also shows why the Brazilian music has unfailing domain.
