- Synopsis
- Apart Together tells a story of an old soldier of the Kuomintang (starred by Ling Feng) who returns to Shanghai to visit his former lover (starred by Lu Yan) whom he has lost contact with for dozens of years and hopes to take her back to Taiwan. However, his return stirred the current family of his lover badly instead of bringing a happy surprise. Lu Yan who has worked hard for her children in her whole life wants to live for love for the rest of herlife, but couldn’t abandon his husband who has loved her for 40 years. And all her children have their own opinions.
  Due to the Taiwan Guest’s longing for reunion, the atmosphere of this Shanghai family becomes tense. At last, Ling Feng embarks on the ship back to Taiwan alone.
