ANTONIO'S SYNDROME

LA SINDROME DI ANTONIO

By Claudio ROSSI MASSIMI

APULIA FILM COMMISSION - as FIN

Drama - Completed 2015

A film about journey, love and self-research, where young actors meet two among the most loved actors of the italian cinema: Remo Girone and Giorgio Albertazzi.
A generational movie but not only. The generation is just a pretext for the author, analyzing the timeless existential malaise of the human soul, those that come out
only from the inner discomfort of every man who decides to compete with the world. Doubts about man and life are the real protagonists told with soft, cheerful
and often ironic tones. And then love as a romantic background, tender and intense that accompanies the whole film.

hopes - that in Greece he will find Plato’s Cave of the shadows, the place beyond which the knowledge is located. A research trip, therefore, that give to Antonio
the chance to meet a beautiful greek girl, Maria, whom with he will fall in love; and then Vassilis, the owner of the place where Antonio stays; Lissa, a mad woman
