A trio of old musicians roam through Bogotá´s cafes selling songs with their guitars. One of them is assaulted and killed, the survivors, must raise money for the burial. With the dissolution of the group a part of a tradition is disappearing.

- Synopsis
- A trio of old musicians sells songs in Bogotá’s cafes. They barely survive on what they earn each night. They have been playing the folklore of the Andes for 50 years, his listeners are getting older and scarce; those songs that use to make girls fall in love and that contained the world in their letters, no longer excite people.
  One night one of them is assaulted and killed, his widow has no money for the funeral so Leonel and Alfredo, the survivors of the trio, organized a raffle. They sell tickets on the streets where musicians are hired for serenades; the sounds of vallenato , mariachis, norteño and cumbia fusion in the streets; they get with great difficulty the money for the burial .
  Now there are two. One day Leonel announces he leaves the music, his daughter will take him to a warmer land; he can’t take it anymore. The farewell .
  Alfredo now sells alone songs while looking for a companion, it is difficult to find someone who wants to play bambucos on cold nights. Felipe, a teenage nephew with musical talent, plays with him some nights, it seems like a revival, but loneliness returns.
  For Alfredo survival becomes more difficult, he barely has money to pay for a ruinous room each night and breakfast in the mornings at Lucia's house, an old lady who secretly loves him. Alfredo plays one last night alone, with stiffed frozen hands and gets not enough money for the room ; he spends the night wandering the streets and recognizing his extinct world. At the end when there is no hope , Lucia lets him in at home. It's like a paradise where a guitar sounds.
