- Synopsis
- Leo and María are expecting their first child and are about to move to a new house. They follow María´s wish to give birth in her home town. Then comes the unexpected: Leo finds out that his father is in need of a heart transplant. As a result, he decides to delay their trip, bring his father to live with him, and take over the family business. Desperate, Leo looks for alternative ways to get the heart his father needs. He becomes obsessed with securing the transplant, and his fixation drives him away from his own paternity. Leo´s half brother, Claudio, an obstetrician, considers their father still capable to act, and he encourages him to take one of the most important actions of his life. As they wait, life and death become close to each other, just as the sorrow for lost chances and the hope for what still can happen.
